Ball Busters.

  • Mistake PB BallsHm.

This was my first take on the Healthy Peanut Butter Balls, which should have been the world’s easiest treat to make (other than the Rocky Road Chunks, maybe, since they don’t require baking either.  Nope- these PB Balls are even easier than the Rocky Road Chunks, because you have to actually melt chocolate for the Chunks.).  Yeah well, I still mucked the Balls up.

Apparently “4 parts dried milk, 3 parts PB, 1 part agave syrup/honey” was too complex for me to figure out.  See picture above to understand how I could in no way roll that mess of crumbs into balls- at least into balls worth eating.

Upon reviewing the exceptionally complicated recipe, I realized that I was woefully short on the PB (the peanut butter that I giddily ground fresh for myself at Whole Foods for about $500, give or take) compared to the correct proportion of dried milk.  Sigh.

So I bought more PB and added it to the crumbly mix (that I had to impatiently bring to room temperature), and then all was right in the world.  Lucky for you, I specified the measurements of the ingredients in my Healthy Peanut Butter Ball recipe, so you won’t have to do what I did.  I’m here for you.
